Josh’s Random Non-Sense!

So my job is fun, now that I’m not being a stock-boy …
I sold $3600 worth of electronics to some really old guy Sunday! He bought a $500 protection plan from me becuase I told him some sob story about my laptop breaking 5 times in the 2 years I had it … GO ME! If only I had known that it breaking would actually be a good thing later on in life … lol
Aside from that, I have a lot of tests to take and make-up because I missed Thursday and Friday. Two tomorrow: AP Physics and AP Economics … WOO HOO!
One cool thing is I found an online version of 1984 for those of us who can’t find their copies (my mom said that she had it, but I’m a little reluctant to go over there).

So yeah … today was my “first day” of work … athough I did go in yesterday, all I did was fill out some forms for about an hour (on the clock though ).
Today I got to CompUSA at about 3:30pm … and spent the next 5 hours taking an online course called CyberScholar. It was FUN! (note the extreme sarcasm here). It “taught” me about all sorts of stuff ranging from financial offers at CompUSA, to how many bits are in a byte, and what the difference between SODIMM and PC100 memory modules are. I knew about 99% of the tech stuff … and I knew about 1% of the financial … so I guess it evened out well …
There were occasional quizes which you had to pass in order to move onto the next section. CyberScholar divides its course up into 5 days. I finished the first three tonight …. –>
It really wore me out. I think I read about 600 pages of information, and I think that I took at least 50 quizes. UG
Oh well … at least I’m getting paid … I hope I get to start working the floors soon …
