Josh’s Random Non-Sense!

So in the past couple of days I realized what potential Bluetooth technology actually had. Now my cellphone has bluetooth, but I had just been using that for my wireless (bluetooth) headset … but it’s capable of more … much more.
Because I didn’t have internet on my old phone, taking pictures with it seemed rather pointless … (the same goes for my new one because it’s only a little newer. Motorola v551 to v557) but now I can actually use both the pictures and video, and see them somewhere other than my the two inch screen on my phone. But what I also found out was really cool. I took a Jack Johnson song (Banana Pancakes) and created a 24 seconds sound clip of it and converted it into a certain format … then using Bluetooth, I sent it to my phone. Voila! The best and most-free ringtone in the world. It doesn’t just sound like the song, it is the song!
I’m awesome. One major reason why this makes me so excited is that my phone only comes with about 3 ringtones … all of which I hate … a lot. So yeah … this is me –>

The site took a while to get right … I think I like it right now … I’m going to add some spiffy artwork at the top later on. And we are placing google ads on the site somewhere (to be determined) in hopes of getting some money to pay for the web hosting and whatnot. So when you see it, please click it … you don’t have to do anymore than that … we get money for your clickies!

So thanks to Matthew Schinckel, I’ve gotten rid of the little boarder around my smilies! lol
And … hopefully cuz of some other stuff he has on his site, I’ll be able to figure out how to add two links at the bottom; one for “older posts” and one for “newer posts.” Blogsome doesn’t seem to offer support for such things at this point in time. He’s found some site that gives a “hack” to get around this … seems a like quite a bit of work to go through, but I should get it working in the next couple of days.
And I got my time to work properly. Like when I’d make a post at 9:30pm, it would show up as 2:30am the next day. The clock on blogsome is automatically set at UTC time, which just so happens to be 5 hours ahead of Central Time … and it has a place where you can put the difference in your time and UTC time … so I’d put -5 … well that never did anything (it refused to recognize the negative sign) … so I found out that I had to update the software running on my blog so that it would see the negative sign … and now I don’t have to feel like I have to change the time on each post I make (just made this blogsome thing a little more appealing, once again).

So yeah … seen a few movies lately: Red Eye, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Transporter 2, and The Brothers Grimm. Yeah, I know … that’s four … in about a week (three this weekend)! Obviously I have nothing better to do that sit in a theatre for hours upon hours at a time … and then repeat the process three-fold.

I’m getting back in a religious mode, so when I get the time/energy/enthusiasm once again, I’ll work on the other couple of religious posts that I had planned to make … and possibly some new ones … I’d like to open a discussion here, but it doesn’t seem like people like to post comments very often (other than Sara Beth … and I was hoping for just more than one person to find this even slightly interesting) … but whatever … I’ll write, and yall comment if you so choose (and you better choose YES!) lol.

The AP problems that we get in Physics seem nearly impossible. Is that the point? Cuz it seems like everytime that Ms. Krinks gives them to use, it’s just to show us how dumb we are (or is that just me?) … and she does grade them … just to make us suffer … ARG!

It’s getting late … and I’m getting less sleepy the more I type … so I guess I’ll try and get some rest before the madness known as school begins for another five days.

Guy and I have come together … and created a beautiful webcomic …

Many more on the way … the second issue is already about half done …

We plan to release one every week, if all goes well …

I’m searching for a good host and domain to use for later on … and a title for the comic. GJComics is our “company name” I guess … I just came up with the title I used on that site “SuperHigh” … let me know what you think … suggestions are more than welcome

So I’m gonna test out this new blog of mine. I can do a whole lot more with it … and it’s still free. Although I won’t be on the whole “xanga-blogring” thing this way … I think I can handle it, lol !

So let me know what you think about this new site of mine … I’ll work on the whole theme thingy … and some of the little things that I can’t get working right now … and I’ll make it cooler … so yeah … I put up a real post in a few hours and see how things are going.
