So Tuesday night my dad figured out the neither my or my step mother’s new cell phones had voicemail or call waiting. He spent a while on the phone with Cingular getting all that setup the way that it should be …

Wednesday, after school, I went to my car and looked at my phone and saw that it had a voicemail. I was surprised because it had just been setup (before it would say “this wireless number is unavailable right now”). It was the woman that I interviewed with at CompUSA the week before. She asked me to call her back at my “earliest convienence.” So I did … and she offered me the job by saying “well, would you like to come work with us?” I said, “HELL yes!” … well … not really … I said “I’d love to!”
So … I got the job. I go in on monday to start the preliminaries and whatever …
YAY FOR ME! This means I’ll have some money … all my own

So Christmas has come and gone. It doesn’t really seem like Christmas was ever even here, mainly because of the fact that we had no “Christmas weather,” in my opinion. It’s not even been slightly cold, let alone the snow issue. Oh well.
So at first I didn’t think that my presents were all that exciting, for various reasons, and then two days ago this happened.

I now have a very very nice new toy! The one major catch to this is that this wasn’t really a gift. I have until 2007 to pay it off … and therefore have to work my butt of during the summer for loads of cash. Why did I do this you ask? Because I hooked up my iPod to my previous laptop and it just felt like deleting all of the 3000 songs that I have on it. YAY! Thank God that my uncle was here (who knows ten times as much about computers as I do) to save about two thirds of my music. I could explain how, but I’m not sure that many would understand so I’ll just leave it at that. So yeah, I now have only about 2000 of my 3000 songs … missing random ones here and there … I hate Windows … it sucks forever more (not like it hadn’t before, just not enough to make me want to break every single computer in the world runing it).

So my money is pretty much non-existant until I pay this thing off. On the other hand I did recieve multiple gift cards: $50 for Dillards, $20 for Regal Cinemas, and $20 for Walmart. So I won’t be completely shut off from the rest of the world for a year … or at least until my gift cards are all used up

So yeah, it’s been quite a while since I’ve updated … I’ll do beter, I promise.

Something interesting that I’ve discovered lately would be the parallels between the movie Garden State and the book The Stranger. I don’t want to get into the specific details, but if you’ve seen/read both of them you’ll understand.
