So the week is over … let the weekend begin!

I’m exempt from all my exams, except for US History (which honestly was never expected). I’m still going to take the AP Physics exam even though I don’t have to. Ms. Krinks said that it would be better for me to take it as practice for the AP test in May. It won’t count for anything unless it helps my grade (which means that I would probably have to get a perfect grade!)

School has been rather dull lately … the pep-rally was pretty boring, except for the Men in Black and the Mascot (Bob) lol. It makes me happy to think that after Monday, I’ll only have to be at school for an hour and a half on Wednesday, and whatever day I choose to take the Physics exam.

So my sister talked to me last night … she told me that my mom is in the hospital because her rhumatiod arthritis is causing her body to swell very badly (much more than usual). She couldn’t even walk or sit comfortably it had gotten so bad. She’s now at the hospital getting steroids contantly pumped into her in hopes of reducing the swelling.

On a lighter note, I’m going to a wedding reception for one of Julie’s mom’s friends. I get to wear my new suit for the first time! And more importantly, I get to dance with Julie for the first time since Prom!! This also lets me look forward to going to Winter Formal with her. It sucks that so few people are going, but I don’t really need anyone there but Julie to have an absolutley wonderful time!!!
Oh yeah … I need to go get some black dress shoes for my suit … in about the next couple of hours … I don’t believe on planning ahead lol.

I’m so very glad that Christmas break is almost here. If you hadn’t already been told, my car’s transmission is slowy (or not so slowly) dying. Sometimes when I get on the interstate it won’t switch from third to fourth gear (and most cars have five gears). So that limits me to drive at about 50 MPH, and about 4000 RPMs … which means that I’m getting nearly half the gas mileage that my car use to get. But one good thing about all of that is that my unlce is going to sell me his old ‘96 Volkswagen Passat. It seems to be pretty nice, other than the fact that my uncle lives in Virginia (about a 12 hour drive). My dad and I have already bought plane tickets to go up there in the Dec. 21 … rest on the 22 … and make the long, long drive back home on the 23. IT HAS HEATED SEATS! lol

Well, that’s about it for now … I think :)

And that’s how the cookie crumbles,
