So I missed school today … had one hell of a headache last night … had trouble keeping objects down in my stomach where they belonged … thought my head was going to explode/implode … wanted to be run over by a truck … ouchie today hurt
I have quite the interesting problem for tomorrow. There was a physics test today that I missed (today was the last day of the first six weeks), so I’m not so sure how I’ll be able to fix that little problem. I’ve got an Art History test tomorrow … of course I don’t have my book to study with … yeah that’ll be fun. I’ve got an English quiz to make up tomorrow morning … and about 30 surveys to give out to professionals to turn in for Engineering on Wednesday. I have no friggin’ idea how I plan to do all that and not die … yay :’(
I got my senior pictures on Saturday … so maybe on Wednesday or Thursday I’ll start giving them out to people … I’ll try and personalize them a little … so don’t get antsy … you’ll get them sooner or later.

Pray that my head stops hurting … I really have to be at school tomorrow …

P.E. today was very tiring … and there were no machines with anything but carbonation … then I went to tennis practice … where Yanglin wanted all of us to run a mile around the school (only 4 of us did) … and I wanted to die near the end … I literally ran out of sweat … yes, dehydration … it was lovely …
So when we got finished I drank two full bottles of water … then afterwards I drank a 32 ounce gatorade and another bottle of water … making like 70 ounces in all. And I definitely took a shower when I got home … it was quite refreshing.

On my way home I saw a few bumper stickers that I found to be quite interesting.
God is not a Republican … or a Democrat
Iraq is Arabic for Vietnam
What Would Jesus Bomb? (with a big mushroom cloud)

I liked those … they were lovely … and they just make you think … yes indeed …

I’ve got an AP Physics and US History test on Thursday … yay! (note the ultimate sarcasm)

Here is the link to the comic that’s gonna go in the school newspaper if you wanna see it ahead of time …

Leave comments here and on our comic site please!

that is all,

School, Friends, JulieSeptember 18, 2005 7:09 pm

So Friday, Julie and I went to O’ Charley’s and to the movie Just Like Heaven … it was good … I laughed … she almost cried. Saturday I played tennis with Guy and Julie and her friend Audrey came along with us … it was fun … we played doubles (me and Guy) with John Bagget and his brother. Today Julie and I went shopping and whatnot … got some cool clothes and a belt that actually fits.
I’ve got plent of AP Physics homework to do tonight … so I better get started soon :( … Although we do have a work-day tomorrow :)
I’ve gotta get a comic ready for Dan … Guy showed him one and Dan said that he would put it in the school paper … so I gotta get that all prettied up and stuff :P

I’ve not got much else to say … life’s been really great these past few days … hope it stays like that :)

adios,

So apparently someone had a bit of trouble with the government’s not so hasty/helpful reactions to Katrina …

Quite interesting … honestly I don’t see the point of Bush going down to New Orleans … I mean, it just seems that in doing so it would just create a commotion, and hinder the work effort down there … it’s all a political gesture of kindness anyways … seriously. It’s not that I don’t like Bush, it’s just that I don’t see the purpose of some of there actions, regardless of political party.

AP Physics test tomorrow … YAY!

Bowling tryouts tomorrow … yall should come … especially you girls … we lost about 6 seniors last year … leaving us with only 2 girls on the team … we need at least 6 more … come one, come all … if you don’t make it, you at least got 3 games of bowling for free!
(tryouts are on Tuesday and Wednesday, I’m going tomorrow)

I got an 86 in US History right now, which is good because I’ve been excused from over half of the work … meaning anything that I missed on the homework assignments that I’ve been doing counts for a crapload of my grade (but it’s a LOT better than making of the rest of the work … don’t get me wrong lol)!

gotta study a bit more,

Tech, Friends, RandomSeptember 11, 2005 11:03 pm

So thanks to Matthew Schinckel, I’ve gotten rid of the little boarder around my smilies! :) lol
And … hopefully cuz of some other stuff he has on his site, I’ll be able to figure out how to add two links at the bottom; one for “older posts” and one for “newer posts.” Blogsome doesn’t seem to offer support for such things at this point in time. He’s found some site that gives a “hack” to get around this … seems a like quite a bit of work to go through, but I should get it working in the next couple of days.
And I got my time to work properly. Like when I’d make a post at 9:30pm, it would show up as 2:30am the next day. The clock on blogsome is automatically set at UTC time, which just so happens to be 5 hours ahead of Central Time … and it has a place where you can put the difference in your time and UTC time … so I’d put -5 … well that never did anything (it refused to recognize the negative sign) … so I found out that I had to update the software running on my blog so that it would see the negative sign … and now I don’t have to feel like I have to change the time on each post I make (just made this blogsome thing a little more appealing, once again).

So yeah … seen a few movies lately: Red Eye, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Transporter 2, and The Brothers Grimm. Yeah, I know … that’s four … in about a week (three this weekend)! Obviously I have nothing better to do that sit in a theatre for hours upon hours at a time … and then repeat the process three-fold.

I’m getting back in a religious mode, so when I get the time/energy/enthusiasm once again, I’ll work on the other couple of religious posts that I had planned to make … and possibly some new ones … I’d like to open a discussion here, but it doesn’t seem like people like to post comments very often (other than Sara Beth … and I was hoping for just more than one person to find this even slightly interesting) … but whatever … I’ll write, and yall comment if you so choose (and you better choose YES!) lol. :P

The AP problems that we get in Physics seem nearly impossible. Is that the point? Cuz it seems like everytime that Ms. Krinks gives them to use, it’s just to show us how dumb we are (or is that just me?) … and she does grade them … just to make us suffer … ARG! :(

It’s getting late … and I’m getting less sleepy the more I type … so I guess I’ll try and get some rest before the madness known as school begins for another five days.

So the News finally gets it right … took a while for them to realize it, huh?

Bush, The Worst Disaster to Hit the U.S.

I found this online randomly today … I had a wonderful laugh …
I appologize for all you republican fans out there … still funny …
I aired on SkyNews (wherever that is …), but I’m sure CNN or ABC would have taken a little more caution to such phrases. :P

AP Physics = poopie.
It’s not that it’s a lot of work, it’s just that I feel as though I should know how to do a whole lot of what we’re working on because I had Honors Phyiscs last year. I’ve come to find out that I don’t remember anything from last year … :( … and her notes and the reading in the book don’t help with the problems that we have to answer about 99.99% of the time. And that’s just loverly!
I’ve got an 81% right now, without the 8 points … so maybe it’ll go up a little before the six weeks is over … maybe not … whatever :|

I’m ready for the weekend already … that was quick.

Pictures from my white-water rafting trip this weekend should arrive soon … so get ready! lol. Their should be a few good ones of me and some others going down the river … and of me getting dumped on the falls … lol :P

ice cream time!
